Architect and university professor based in Damascus.
In addition to practicing his profession, he is concerned with the philosophy of architecture in general and sacred architecture in particular. He has been concerned, for decades, with efforts to renew the discourse of “Islamic architecture” in general and mosques in particular, in practice, criticism, and theory. This manifesto falls within these efforts.
